3 Delicious Ways To Make Homemade Ranch Dressing

3 Ways To Make Homemade Ranch Dressing

1. Tofu Ranch

Using silken tofu to make this ranch will give you a creamier texture than other tofu options. Tofu is also an excellent protein source so you'll get some extra macronutrients!

  1. A blender
  2. Silken Tofu
  3. Our ranch seasoning
  4. Cold water

Directions:

Add your tofu to a blender, then add two tablespoons of the ranch seasoning. A little extra never hurts anybody ;-) Lastly, add 1/2 cup of cold water.

Start your blender and blend it all together until smooth and creamy!

If you add more water, it'll be runnier, and if you add less water, it'll be thicker. 

2. Cashew Ranch

This method does take slightly longer and uses cashews instead of tofu, and boiling water instead of cold water. Cashews have a higher fat content than tofu so you will get a lot more creaminess and richness in your ranch dressing.

You need:

  1. An immersion blender or a standard one.
  2. 3/4 cup cashews (soaked)
  3. 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning

Directions:

Pre-soak your cashews in boiling water for about 10 minutes or longer until soft.

Use your immersion blender and blend the cashews until creamy with the water they soaked in. 

Add 2 tablespoons of ranch seasoning and blend again to mix it all. Run a spatula along the sides to scrape off any seasoning.

Refrigerate and serve with whatever your heart desires!

3. Quick Ranch

This is the quickest way to make a lovely dressing.

You'll need:

  • 1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise, plain yogurt, or sour cream.
  • Two tablespoons ranch seasoning

Directions:

You simply mix the ranch seasoning with your choice of base. Add a little water if you want a thinner dressing. Stir well, then place in a covered dish and chill.  

Or simply shake it!

You can also use our ranch seasoning just straight out of the bottle!

It's delicious on broccoli, potatoes, popcorn, and so much more!

Note:

Your ranch will get better with time as it develops. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes before serving. The longer you let it sit, the more flavor they're going to have and the more those flavors are going to meld and merge together!
