The original packaging is not intended for long term storage.  If these foods are stored in the original packaging, it will expire within months.  However, if you store properly in buckets, Mylar bags, and other necessary equipment, FEMA says most of these products can safely be stored indefinitely. We offer a storage solutions bundle ((HERE)), and an informative long term storage video ((HERE)).
