This is the second time we have ordered bulk quantities of whole grain organic Kamut.
The grain has large golden kernals.
We grind the Kamut to make our own sourdough bread. Each loaf is hearty and mild flavored.
My digestive system cannot handle modern wheat, but the Kamut is easily digestible.

Best source of Kamut berries

The Kamut berries were so clean when I poured them into a glass container. I'm used to extra 'powder' rising up but it wasn't that way. I ground some that night and made an amazing loaf of sourdough bread for the next day. Thank you for sourcing these!!!

We love this grain! I use it mostly for winter salads. I make a big chopped salad of whatever greens I have, add cooked cooled kamut, some chopped fruit and walnuts and then lemon juice and honey and whatever spices sound good. The kamut is chewy and has a lovely rich taste.

I have been using the Organic Kamut for baking for about 3 months and they have been very good. I even made homemade cream of wheat which I think tastes best with the Kamut vs. other wheat berries. The Kamut wheat berries were the cleanest compared to the other grains I purchased. All were good though.

Firmer than rice

I use them as a firmer rice substitute. They must be soaked overnight or cooked longer than rice to be soft enough for my taste. But they are packed with vitamins and amino acids making them essential for every kitchen.
