We buy the 30# box of raisins, repack them into 1/2 gallon glass canning jars and store them in the freezer. We use them in oatmeal, cookies, gorp/trail mix, and for "ants on a log" = celery with peanut butter and raisins on top or substitute the celery with half an apple (use a melon baller to take out the core) and you have "ants on a rock" :)
