It is important to let the mixture stand in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight for the best results. Add 1/2 to 1 cup of additional milk to thin the batter to the desired consistency. Oil your waffle iron before preheating. Spoon cold batter onto hot waffle iron and spread evenly. Bake until steaming stops or as directed according to the waffle iron manufacturers directions.
